The Housing programme improves access to rented accommodation for young people, the elderly, families and those whose incomes have been reduced due to the current crisis.

  • WHAT WE DO

    The Housing programme offers access to a home

    10,000 rented flats located throughout Spain at rents below those established by the State Subsidised Housing Scheme.
     

  • HOW WE HELP

    We have 2 programmes aimed at different groups of people.

    Accessible Rent programme

    • 4,000 rented properties at rents below those of the State Subsidised Housing Scheme.

    • Aimed at young people, the elderly and families.

    • Homes with 1 to 3 bedrooms and top quality finishes.

    • Located in: Andalusia, Catalonia, Community of Valencia, Madrid, Murcia and the Basque Country.

    • Some of the developments have adapted housing for people with reduced mobility or disabilities no greater than 33%.

    • Five-year leases which can be extended provided tenants are still eligible.

    Solidarity Rent programme

    • 6,000 rented properties with rents no higher than €300 a month, 50% of which is subsidised by "la Caixa" Foundation. Tenants therefore pay a maximum rent of €150 per month.

    • Aimed at people whose incomes have fallen due to the economic crisis.

    • Five-year leases.
