    Fundació Antoni Tàpies

    Barcelona

Participants take photographs with single-use cameras to show their own reality, and accompany these images with text about aspects that are not captured by the image.

  • PATIS INTERIORS

    uTOpia Barcelona

    Barcelona

"Interior Patios" is an interdisciplinary project of artistic creation with women in vulnerable situations in the district of La Verneda and La Paz. Based on drama and the aesthetic of the oppressed as an overall approach but interconnected with other artistic disciplines, the aim is to bring art closer to women, causing a paradigmatic shift that places them as creators, at the same time as empowering them in the definition/perception of themselves and the place they occupy in the community. With aesthetic research into the socialisation of women and their bodies, different artistic disciplines will be used to create metaphors that tell their stories, using creative languages that democratise art and integrate it within the daily lives of the participants.
