Register and certifications

  • To present a project, the applicant organisation needs to certify its eligibility on the applications website, where it will be given an access code (username and password)

    Any organisations already certified need to verify and validate the registration documentation contained in the application.

    Organisations must have existed for at least 5 years; for organisations resulting from mergers, at least one of them must have existed for this period of time. 

    To become certified you need to complete all the fields requested and enclose the following scanned documentation:

     

    • Documentation required from the organisation:

    1. Tax code (CIF) card.

    2. Entry in the corresponding register. Should a branch be applying, the entry record of both the organisation and the branch in the corresponding register is required.

    3. Articles of Association.

    4. Document certifying the person representing the organisation is entitled to manage projects (model available in the application).

    5. Tax code (NIF) of the person in the organisation responsible for managing the project.

     

Project presentation

  • Projects are presented via the applications website for the call for applications using the username and password obtained during certification. No physical documentation will be accepted.

    To present a project correctly all the data fields in the different tabs of the website application must be completed and the project presentation form provided by the application must be enclosed, as well as the complementary documentation.

    Documentation to be presented

    To present a project for the call for applications the organisation needs to enclose the following documentation with its application:

    a) Dossier A

    1. The application form, duly completed.

    2. Logical framework.

    3. Schedule/action plan.

    4. Overall budget, according to the Excel model that can be downloaded from the applications platform.

    5. Detailed budget by activity and year (the model used by each organisation).

    6. Baseline/dashboard, according to the Excel model that can be downloaded from the applications platform.

    7. Any other information to explain and/or justify how the baseline has been produced.

    8. Proposed terms of reference for the final evaluation.


    b) Dossier B: administrative documentation that must be provided by Spanish and local organisations

    Spanish organisations

    1. Copy of the Articles of Association, which must clearly state the non-profit status of the organisation.

    2. If the Articles of Association do not state development aid as the area of action, a certifying document from the Board of Directors or Trustees stating this aim.

    3. Copy of the entry made in the corresponding register.

    4. Photocopy of the Spanish tax code card.

    5. Activity report from the previous year.

    6. Document on the number of associate members, if applicable.

    7. Organisation chart.

    8. Page with the summary of the latest audit report.

    9. Balance sheets for the last three years.

    10. Income statements for the last three years.

    11. Photocopy of the identity document of the person signing the application.

    12. Certificate of payment of the difference between the amount requested and the total required for the project.

    13. For programmes presented by several Spanish organisations, the corresponding agreement between them must also be presented.

    14. Brief CV of the person in charge of the project in the organisation (maximum one page).

    15. Strategy document for the country and/or sector strategy, if applicable.

    16. Documentation certifying membership of networks, platforms and other coordination bodies.

    Local organisations

    1. Activity report from the previous year.

    2. Document on the number of associate members, if applicable.

    3. Organisation chart.

    4. Summary page from the last audit report from the previous year, if applicable.

    5. Balance sheets for the last three years.

    6. Income statements for the last three years.

    7. Copy of the Articles of Association, which must clearly state the non-profit status of the organisation.

    8. Copy of the organisation's entry in the corresponding register.

    9. Any agreements or protocols between Spanish NGO(s) and local partner(s).

    10. Strategy document for the country and/or sector strategy, if applicable.

    11. Brief CV of the person in the organisation responsible for the programme (maximum one page).

    12. Documentation certifying membership of networks, platforms and other coordination bodies.


    c) Dossier C

    1. Market studies and/or business plan and/or feasibility plan for the productive initiatives supported.

    2. Should the project be a continuation of a previous project/phase, the evaluation report on any previous phases must also be provided.

    3. Any complementary information the organisation deems necessary to better understand the proposal, in a duly separate document.
