People who inspire

The "la Caixa" fellowship programme provides resources and a complete service of assistance and support to help students further their training at the best universities and schools in the world.

  • Spanish students in their last year or who have completed studies at a degree level, in engineering, architecture or other higher studies of the same level.

  • WHAT WE DO

Since 1982, every year "la Caixa" Foundation has held a call for fellowship applications aimed at students wishing to further their training by carrying out postgraduate studies.

We work hard to support young university talent because we firmly believe that scientific advances, research, mobility and professional qualifications are key to the development of people and society as a whole.

The "la Caixa" fellowship programme is the most important scheme promoted by a private institution in Spain, both in terms of the number of fellowships granted, the thoroughness of its selection process and the share of the funding given for each scholarship, as well as the variety of disciplines subsidised.

We also stand out for the special attention we pay to fellowship holders before, during and after their period of study, offering them additional services and support to ensure their experience is as enriching as possible.
