Training course in intercultural skills aimed at healthcare workers

This course is in response to the challenge represented by the gradual rise in interculturalism among users of healthcare services.

The aim is to provide healthcare workers with sufficient knowledge to achieve a level of cognitive skill in the different areas related to intercultural interaction. 

The course is designed for medical staff (GPs, specialists and resident doctors), psychologists and qualified nurses working in healthcare.

The course is entirely online and is eminently practical in its design.This course forms part of the collaboration established between ""la Caixa" Banking Foundationnand the Department of Psychiatry at University Hospital Vall d'Hebron (Programme of Transcultural Psychiatry).

To date more than 326 professionals have taken part in the course on managing diversity in the area of health.
