Take part in the Competition of Stories Written by the Elderly organised by "la Caixa" Foundation in collaboration with RNE

Since the story competition started in 2009 it has helped to develop the talent and creativity of older people.

The aim of this initiative is to encourage the habit of reading and use of the imagination among the elderly, as well as to show society their abilities, knowledge and values.

The stories written by older people reflect their lives and the knowledge they have garnered over years of experiences, as well as how they see our history and our time.

Each year the winner of the competition is rewarded with the adaptation of their story for radio and its broadcast, as well as its publication on the websites of  "la Caixa" Foundation and RNE. The shortlisted authors also have their stories published in the biannual "Las buenas historias no tienen edad".
